Most people meet artificial intelligence as a black box: it produces an answer, and you are invited to trust it. I think that is the wrong relationship, and a fixable one.
So I teach. Conferences, universities, workshops, internal programmes — the format changes, the goal does not. People should leave able to interrogate a model rather than merely admire it. That means the mathematics when the mathematics matter, the limitations always, and a working session rather than a lecture wherever the room allows it.
The nickname is affectionate but the work is not soft. Ethics in action means saying, on stage and in the room, which applications should not ship.
